@JK Swopes & Zath - I purchased this tool on Forest's recommendation. I've went from posting daily on this blog to posting once weekly. I don't have any time because I've been using MNF to revamp my product sites.

I've found so many keywords and phrases that I never even considered before. MNF is a must have for anyone serious about doing good keyword research.

This is a great review Forest, I've been using MNF for many months now and am constantly finding more great keyphrases than I actually get round to writing about.

A great tool and a steal at this price - I've more than made it back with good ranking pages!

Ok here is a better answer.....

Micro Niche Finder support informs me that their search data is taken from Wordtracker and presented in a way similar to overture (which they claim is not bery good these days!). As for the accuracy of Wordtracker, I don't know, but i do know that it is used and accepted as a decent tool. MNF has delivered me steady traffic from all high yielding kewords that I have put to use.

Reading other reviews and talking to people who recommended me the product, it is apparently very accurate. However I have just emailed MNF support to get an answer direct from them and see if they will tell me how the results are gathered.

Hi Forest,

Great post. There is a lot of disagreement about long tail keywords. Some of the SEO gurus claim there isn't enough traffic to build optimized pages for them. It seems your results would contradict that. I'd say a long tail that is generating 100+ visitors a day is nothing to sneeze at.

How accurate is the estimated searches? I use Keyword Elite, but it doesn't specialize in finding long tails like MNF.
