Pictures of Johnny Cash’s Burned Down House in Hendersonville, TN

15 September 2007

Johnny Cash’s previous home was located on Old Hickory Lake in Hendersonville, TN. The house burned down a few months after Johnny died. My boat is docked a few miles away from what is left of his house.

There is 24 hour security to keep the looters away. I hear they are planning to take what is left of the house and build a memorial to Johnny in another location.

I have been promising some pictures. Here they are.

  1. thats too bad about johnny cash’s house i had seen it from the outside and in a movie before it burned down.

it was beautiful house i heard about the fire from the tennessean website and drove out to see it that evening there was a steady line of traffic.

i guess a lot of people was affected by it or just curious.

i know barry gibb had purchased the house and was having it remodeled i think he had planned to use it for a summer house i wonder if he plans to build another home there.

if not that would be the perfect spot for the memorial providing it would not be a traffic issue.
