Fedor Emelianenko vs. Brett Rogers – What an Exciting Fight!

07 November 2009

If you were looking for an exciting fight this weekend, Fedor Emelianenko vs. Brett Rogers wouldn't have left you disappointed. Fedor was cut within 1 minute of the first round and was bleeding pretty bad. From this point, I was standing just feet from a 50" tv anxious to see if Fedor was going to pull off another victory or if Rogers would finally put an end to his invincible rein. I think Rogers clearly won the first round finishing it up on top of Fedor and dealing him five vicious shots. By this point, I wasn't sure if Fedor was going to pull off another win or not.

You can never count him out. Once again Fedor proved that he can handle a much larger challenger by knocking Rogers out cold in 1:48 of the second round.

This was one of the best fights I've seen in a while. It was action packed and was a great match up. The UFC needs to get off their butts and set up Fedor Emelianenko vs. Brock Lesnar. That's what fans want to see!

Here is a great "blow by blow" of the fight from ESPN.

The Subscribe To Comments plugin is pretty popular among Wordpress bloggers. For those that don't know, this plugin allows your readers to subscribe to specific posts and notifies them by email each time a new comment is placed. It's really a must for keeping your site visitors coming back and keeping them engaged in the discussion.

I'm in the process of launching a new site built on Wordpress and installed version 2.1 which is the latest version of STC. I was a little disappointed to find that you can no longer automatically check the subscribe box by default. Here is what I found in the FAQ section of the readme.txt file that comes with the plugin.

I’m Back From My 6 Month Leave!

01 November 2009

This is my first post in nearly six months! 2009 has been a great, but also a very busy year for me and my family.

Most of my regular readers know that my primary business has been an e-commerce site that my wife and I started out of our garage in 2001. In 8 years we had grown that business into a 10,000 square foot facility that we owned and were generating 7 figures a year in revenue.

If you have ever operated a business of that size, then you know everything isn't about lots of money, sandy beaches, and fruity drinks. It's more about long hours, lots of taxes, and employee issues. Owning a business has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life, but it has also been one of the most demanding and stressful.

UFC 98 – Rashad Evans vs. Lyota Machida

23 May 2009
evans-vs-machida

UFC 98 was very exciting. The much anticipated fight between Rashad Evans and Lyota Machida was not disappointing. Rashad the reigning Light Heavyweight Champion wasn't there by accident. He is an excellent and dangerous fighter. I was just amazed to see how easily Machida took him apart with surgical precision.

It's going to be interesting to see who steps up to face Machida. This guy has real skill. I can't think of another fighter in the weight class that could put up a real challenge.

What Would You Do With 64 Cents A Day?

16 May 2009

64 cents a day isn't much unless you are living in a third world country. To Kevin Ham, making 64 cents a day became a process he duplicated over and over and turned into a 300 Million Dollar Business.

Kevin Ham has built a portfolio of 300,000 domain names estimated to be worth more than 300 million dollars. These domains produce an estimated 70 million dollars a year in revenue. That averages out to be 64 cents a day per domain.

This is a great story that is worth reading.
